About SOS
Parents:
Visit the Parent Relations website for more information about Parent Orientation Weekend and check out the New Student Communication Timeline for deadlines and mailings information.
SOS stands for Student Orientation Services. A diverse group of SOS leaders has been trained to help you navigate your way as you enter this new community.
Here's how it works...
FOR FALL ORIENTATION - All new students are divided up into groups of about 20 led by one of these SOS leaders. This group is your opportunity to connect in a more personal way with other students sharing a similar experience. Furthermore, your SOS leader is there to meet your specific needs and help in any way possible.
FOR SPRING ORIENTATION - SOS Student Directors and staff will be actively involved in your orientation process with other new students, ready to share a meal, accompany you to special events, and help you get acclimated to the Biola community.
We count it a privilege to serve you in this way. There will be more programs and events than you know what to do with during the SOS Orientation Week. We will do our best to help you connect with other students, faculty, campus life, ministries and involvements, a local church, and the community of La Mirada.
