My name is Melissa, I am 37 years old, and I am a BIOLA alumni. I am looking for female renters for my cozy home in La Mirada. From my house it’s a 5 minute drive and about a 30-40 minute walk to BIOLA (2 miles out).

There are 2 furnished bedrooms available to rent. They are located in a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in La Mirada near cross streets Imperial Hwy and Santa Getrudes (about 2 miles from BIOLA). Rent for the smaller bedroom is $1,100, and for slightly bigger bedroom is $1,200; including utilities, non-food shared household supplies in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, and internet. Or $75 a night per person per room. These 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom. I am living in the master bedroom with its own private bathroom. The rooms come furnished with a queen sized bed, dresser, and closet. Linens/towels for the bedrooms and bathroom are also available for use.

I am looking for someone fairly quiet. My dad lives on the property as well; separate from the house in a private studio apartment with his own private entrance.

I don’t allow my renters to have pets, or use drugs or smoke in my home or on its premises. I currently have 2 kitties; open to a dog in the near future. 

No overnight guests. Exceptions might be possible upon request (with an additional charge of $25 per person per night).

Renters will have access to the kitchen, dining room, living room, and backyard. They will also have access to the washer and dryer located in the garage which can be accessed through the house.

-Studio apartment attached to the back of the house with its own private entrance may become available soon. $1,400; furnished and includes utilities, some cleaning supplies, and internet. Studio has a closet, its own full bathroom, and a kitchenette. Renters will also have access to the backyard, and to the washer and dryer located in the garage.
