Recently moved, looking to fill my old room! The house is a 5min drive to campus and is housed by 4 current housemates, two of which are recent Biola grads.
Rent is $722 per month for the room, plus about ~$100 utilities that fluctuates based on electricity use. Room is unfurnished, lots of closet space and a big window.
The rest of the house also features a spacious, furnished living room common area with a kitchen and washer/dryer arrangement, 2 bathrooms, gigabit internet with ethernet, a small backyard area, garage, and a front lawn with an orange tree.
House community is also very important here! It's a community-driven house -- expect to join for the occasional movie night, Halloween party, or attending the premiere of a show a housemate is starring in. It's a mostly quiet and creative group, far from rowdy, but various house activities are a regular occurrence and guests are encouraged.
